Some of the best things in life start with helping a friend.

R&B Honey Co was born in the shadow of the North Georgia Mountains when Rob got his first real taste of beekeeping — literally — while helping a friend harvest honey at his father’s apiary. What started as an afternoon favor quickly turned into a full-blown fascination. As it turns out, the bees had other plans for him.

By 2019, Rob had his own hives. By 2020, those hives had grown into a mission: to share the unique, wild flavors of Cleveland, GA with anyone who appreciates honey the way nature intended it — raw, unfiltered, and alive with the pollen and character of the North Georgia mountains.

R&B stands for Rob and Beth, the husband and wife team behind every jar. From managing the hives and tending the pepper garden to harvesting, bottling, and showing up at your local farmers market — everything is done by hand, with care, and with a whole lot of respect for the bees that make it all possible.

Today, you’ll find R&B Honey Co at farmers markets and festivals across the region, as well as shipping award-winning honey to doorsteps all across Georgia. Our lineup includes raw Wildflower Honey with warm caramel notes, prized Sourwood Honey harvested from one of the most sought-after nectar sources in the Southeast, and our signature small-batch Hot Honey — made with peppers we grow ourselves right here on the homestead.

In the end, there are no shortcuts and no compromises. Just pure mountain honey, straight from our hives to you.

Rob has been keeping bees since 2019 and is a University of Georgia certified beekeeper. He manages our hives across multiple bee yards in the Cleveland, GA area and oversees every harvest from start to finish.
