Our Cast Iron Conditioner is a small-batch seasoning balm handcrafted with just three honest ingredients: our own pure beeswax, high-smoke-point grapeseed oil, and stable, vitamin-E-rich sunflower oil. No petroleum, no parabens, no mystery chemicals — just plant- and bee-derived protection that’s 100% food safe.
It works three ways at once: grapeseed oil polymerizes fast into a hard, slick coating; sunflower oil keeps everything shelf-stable and rancid-free; and beeswax seals out moisture to stop rust before it starts. And because it’s a solid balm, it never goes sticky, gummy, or funky in your cupboard the way a half-used bottle of cooking oil eventually will.
Perfect for restoring a vintage family heirloom or babying your everyday skillet — and it loves carbon steel just as much.
How to Use
Wash and dry your pan completely (a few minutes over low heat finishes the job).
Rub a thin layer onto the warm iron with a clean cloth.
Buff off every bit of excess until the pan looks dry.
Bake upside down at 450°F for one hour, then let cool.
